San Ignacio Guazú

San Ignacio Guazú is a village in Paraguay. Its main attraction are the buildings once built for the Jesuit Mission but still in use today.

Take any "commun" bus from Asunción to Encarnación (or vice versa) and tell the driver to get out for the city centre or main plaza.

Museo Jesuitico. It's a not too big a museum but the very competent explanations by the attendant make it well worth seeing it. 5.000 Gs.
