Ocean City (Washington)

Ocean City is in Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.

Understand

Ocean City is a small town located in the middle of Copalis Beach on the Pacific Coast of Washington State. The popular beach here is wide, sandy, and flat making the area a popular tourist destination. It is in the North Beach area which lies north of Grays Harbor.

Do

Beachcombing

As you might expect, beach combing is hugely popular along the Pacific Coast, however due to its size and vast expanses between towns it is easy to find your own isolated patch to explore.

Be warned that sea shells and driftwood are considered part of the natural environment and should not be removed. Be gentle with sea creatures and keep a wide distance away from nesting birds, seals and other shore animals and always put back anything removed from the shoreline.

Sleep

Ocean City State Park has 149 standard campsites, 29 full utility campsites, one dump station, four restrooms and six showers. The utility sites provide electricity, water and sewer. Maximum site length is 50 feet (may have limited availability). Year-round reservations are available by visiting online or calling (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688.
