Mount Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary is in Davao Oriental, Philippines. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site.



As the name reveals the park comprises Mount Hamiguitan and the surrounding region. The highest mountain, Hamiguitan, is 1620m above the sea level.

Flora and fauna

Flora-wise the highlights of the sanctuary are the wealth carnivorous plants (nepenthes) and its unique pygmy forest. The wildlife sanctuary is a habitat for the critically endangered Philippine eagle.

The closest city is Mati, around 40km north.
