Lockerbie (Gaelic: Logarbaidh) is a small town in Dumfries and Galloway, most famous as the setting for the tragic 1988 crash of Pan Am flight 103, following the detonation of a bomb on board.

Lockerbie is just off the A74 which links Glasgow with Carlisle and the south.

By train

Lockerbie station is served by Virgin and First Transpennine Express trains from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Carlisle. Direct trains may be available from London Euston, Birmingham or Manchester.
