Dunblane

Dunblane (Gaelic: Dùn Bhlàthain) is a Cathedral city in Scotland.

By road

Dunblane is just off the main A9 road between Stirling and Perth.

By rail

Trains for Dunblane depart from both Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Queen Street stations on a half-hourly basis during the week, and roughly hourly at weekends. Trains take about an hour from Edinburgh, and about 40 minutes from Glasgow. Trains from Edinburgh also stop at Stirling. Travelling from the north, there are a few trains per day from Perth.

By bus

The M8 links Edinburgh and Dunblane.

Dunblane is small enough to walk around easily.
