History
Benxi Shuidong was made a national park on January 10, 1994
Landscape
Forest of stalagtites and stalagmites within a cavern system lit by colored lighting. A river 3,000 meters long, 2 meters deep and wide enough for 20-30 boats, is found flowing through a giant 5 million-year old cavern
Climate
Constant temperature of 10°C within the cavern
Get in
Direct bus from Shenyang leaves in the morning and returns in the afternoon. Minibuses from Benxi leave regularly from Benxi train station.
Fees/Permits
元120 plus 元15 for tram from ticket office to cave entrance

Boat ride along the "Milky Way", the river that flows through the caverns
