A tickle fight is always a guaranteed good time, but winning a tickle fight is even better. To win a tickle fight, you have to learn the basics of tickling and attempt a serious of bullet-proof tickling strategies. If you want to know how to win your next tickle fight, just follow these steps.

Method 1
Use the Basic Tickle

Know how to pin your victim. Pinning your victim is crucial to your tickling success. If your opponent has free arms and legs, he will be able to get you back in no time. You must find a way to quickly pin and trap your opponent so you can exploit your tickling skills. You can try pinning your opponent a number of ways:
    • Pin your opponent's arms over his head with your legs when he's laying down on his back.
    • Sit on your opponent's chest and pin his arms down with your hands.
    • Pin your opponent by sitting on his knees or grabbing his ankles when he's on his back.
    • Pin your opponent by sitting on his back when he's on his stomach, and pushing his arms to the ground.

Find the most tickle-prone parts of your victim's body. Every person's most tickle-sensitive zones are different, so you should experiment by tickling different parts of the body to see when your opponent looks the most surprised and panicked, or when he squeals, screams, and laughs uncontrollably. If the begging, pleading, and spasmodic movements increase, you know you've found your tickle sweet spot. Here are some sure-fire tickle-prone places to try:
    • The feet, toes, and achilles tendons
    • The belly and belly button
    • The armpits, ribs, and sides
    • The knees and area right above the knees
    • The hands and palms
    • The neck and back of the neck

Have no mercy. If you're tickling so your opponent agrees to do something, don't stop until you get what you want. Whether you're tickling your opponent for control of the remote, a free massage, or a dinner date, don't stop until he gives in.
    • Don't stop just because your opponent says, "I can't breathe!" If he's laughing and can speak, then he's still breathing. But if he really can't breathe and sounds distressed and winded, then you should stop.

Method 2
Use the Four-Way Tickle

  1. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 4
Put your opponent on his stomach. To get him in this position, you may start with your opponent on his back, and tickle his armpits until he turns over.
  2. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 5
Sit on your opponent's upper back while facing his feet. Keep tickling his sides so he doesn't resist.
  3. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 6
Insert your toes into his armpits or sides. You don't have to get them exactly in the armpits -- just move your feet in the general area. If you have bare feet, make sure your toenails are trimmed unless you want to scratch your opponent.
  4. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 7
Begin to tickle the armpits with the sides of your feet. Move your feet along the ribs as well. You can start tickling the lower back with your hands for maximum effect. Remember that you want to make use of all four of your limbs, so the sooner you start, the better.
    • You can really dig in with the sides of your big toes and heels.
  5. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 8
Reach in front of you to tickle your opponent's feet. Try tickling his legs as well. If your opponent's shoes are still on, try taking them off to maximize your tickle skills.
  6. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 9
Continue tickling your opponent's feet, sides, and armpits until he gives up. Watch out for your opponent's free arms. You need to start your tickle attack pronto so he is too weakened to fight back.

Method 3
Use the Triple Tickle

  1. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 10
Make sure your opponent has been sufficiently weakened. This is a must before you attempt the ruthless Triple Tickle. You want your opponent to have no chance of fighting back.
  2. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 11
Pin your opponent on his/her back. Sit on his/her chest and pin down his/her arms.
  3. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 12
Quickly shift down to sit on his upper stomach. Release his arms as you do this.
  4. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 13
Tickle his armpits with your hands. Tickle his left armpit with your left hand and his right armpit with your right hand. Remember to act quickly so your opponent doesn't have time to fight back with his free hands. He should be so weakened that he doesn't even remember that his hands are free.
  5. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 14
Start rubbing your chin on your opponent's neck, ribs, and stomach. Remember that this is pretty intimate, so you shouldn't try this tickle move on someone you don't know very well.
    • If your opponent is shirtless, try a raspberry on his stomach.

Method 4
Use the Double-Foot Tickle

  1. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 15
Face the victim. Ideally, you should both already be lying down on the floor, a bed, or another soft surface.
  2. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 16
Put the victim on his back with his feet toward you. You can do this at the beginning of your tickle fight, or after executing some other tickle tactics. The Triple Tickle is an especially effective warm-up move for the Double-Foot Tickle, because you'll already have your opponent on his back.
  3. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 17
Squat in front of the victim's feet. You should be facing the soles of his feet.
  4. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 18
Grab one of his ankles with one arm. Tighten your grip.
  5. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 19
Tickle the soles of the opponent's two feet with your free hand. Take turns between the two feet, and really try to tickle the area in the middle of his foot, which is the most sensitive.
  6. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 20
Be prepared to shift around. Your opponent will try to kick his legs and whip his body, so get ready to shift to the right and left as your opponent wildly flails before giving up.
    • Make sure to keep your face at a distance from your opponent's feet. You want to win a tickle fight, not lose your front tooth.

Method 5
Use the Knockout Knee Tickle

  1. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 21
Pin your opponent on his back. This is another great move to try after you've already debilitated your victim with a few tickle moves.
  2. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 22
Sit on his chest. Keep your knees at his sides.
  3. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 23
Grab his arms with your arms. Wrap a firm hand around each of his wrists.
  4. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 24
Lift your body until your knees are on his chest. This will take some shifting around.
  5. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 25
Tickle his chest and stomach with your knees.
  6. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 26
Tickle his armpits and ribs with your knees. You can alternate between the chest and stomach and the armpits and ribs. Gauge your opponent's reaction to see which tickle tactic is the most deadly.
  7. Image titled Win a Tickle Fight Step 27
Once your opponent is ready to give up, give his wrists and forearms a firm tickle. Just make sure your opponent is debilitated at this point, or he'll be able to fight back with his hands.

  • Listen to the most common plea, "I can't breathe". You must move air across your vocal chords to make a sound. It is only when the victim mouths the words "I can't breathe" that you know that they really can't, and should refer to the warning below. Even though the victim can clearly breathe if he/she says "I can't breathe", you may want to let up a little bit because this is usually an indication that it is becoming difficult for them to breathe.
  • Prey on their weak spots make sure those little tickle spots get the worst on your tickling crusade!
  • If the ticklee tries to thrust you off with their feet, it is an opportunity for you. Catch and hold one of their feet by the ankle. Then, take one or more fingers, and lightly tickle the open space on their foot. If they are wearing shoes or socks, act fast and take them off. Make sure that you hold the ankle steady, tickling feet isn't always the easiest!

  • If a person starts to get angry, and tells you repeatedly to stop tickling them, stop. It's not worth winning a tickle war, if it hurts your friendship.
  • When tickling someone with a feather, use fast short brushes on their tickle spot and on the stomach and feet use long soft strokes.
  • Remember that just because the person is laughing does not mean they are enjoying themselves. Be aware and sensitive to the idea that your tickling may be more akin to real torture for them, and this could have significant, negative side-effects. Keep it friendly and don't be mean.

Also long socks can be used as a blindfold or to tie your victim down to A)Stop them getting you back, and B) to protect themselves and you from their ticklish reactions (some people have very physical reactions to tickling).
  • Be careful your opponent doesn't use his or her feet to thrust you off, or you can be sure that your turn to be tickled out of your mind is coming pretty soon! This is always a danger unless you have someone else helping you to secure the legs, as well.
  • First and foremost, be sure that the person you are tickling likes to be tickled. People who REALLY don't like to be tickled may respond with violence BEFORE they have time to think about it. Other undesirable reactions include vomiting and asthma attacks.
  • Make sure the person you're tickling doesn't have an overactive bladder, is prone to motion sickness or nausea, or you might have a mess to clean up.
  • You want the person you'll be tickling to be on their back, face up.
  • If your ticklee has socks on, take them off and use them to tickle them.
  • Children love to be tickled!
