    Choose a dress that has a tight empire line area (the bit under your boobs) as this will continue to be the smallest part of your body. opt for a low cut dress, as your cleavage will have increased, also it draws attention to that part of your body. Knee length dresses are most common and very sophisticated, but go for whatever suits you.

    Choose something with an elasticated waist, so you can wear them throughout your pregnancy. Skinny jeans draws attention to the legs, not the waist. However, for larger legs opt for a "Bootcut" or slim-leg style. Choose darker colours to look more motherly and prepared.

    Tops should never be cropped or short. Wear longer tops that are a good three inches below your belly. If wearing tighter tops try layering, it hides your poking out belly button. Tunic tops with small black and white prints look fantastic with a bright skinny belt worn on empire line.

    During pregnancy skirts shouldn't be limited. As long as they are comfortable with your bump, wear them. (Exceptions of short tight minis that show your knickers)

    For health and safety reasons avoid skyscraper heels. Flat shoes such as ballet pumps and funky plimsolls can look just as cool and glam as heels.

  • Try to find most things that can stretch. No point in spending money if you can only wear it for a few weeks.
