Hi Amy!
I just wanted to say thanks for your awesome help with patrolling. You've been doing a fantastic job, and we really need help from people like you who can review and discriminate appropriately. The unpatrolled edit count has been rather high this week, so your helping hand is very much appreciated!

Thanks for your edits on Have Sex with Your Kid. Even though you may want to, only administrators are allowed to delete articles. In the future, please only place a {{speedy}} on the page, and if needed delete explicit offensive content. Removing the rest of the content only makes it more difficult to determine the fate of the page, since has to be restored to view it.
Also, do not leave messages saying you have deleted the page, since you cannot delete it.

Hey there Amy K. Jones!
It appears that you may have forgotten to assign a license to the pictures you recently uploaded. I just wanted to verify whether you made these pictures yourself or got them from somewhere else:
http://www.wikihow.com/Image:Artbudgetsktch.png
If this is a screenshot of computer software, let me know so I can tag the image as Fair Use. If you got it from a search engine, like Google or Bing, or a website you found, please let me know which site - images that are copyrighted can't be used on wikiHow and have to be removed, but you can search for images we already have permission to use by entering search terms in the Search area instead of uploading using the "Browse" button. For more information, see Import Freely Licensed Images Into wikiHow. If you're searching for images on the web, check to make sure they have a "Creative Commons" or "Public Domain" license associated with them (might be found near the picture, or in the site's Terms of Use), rather than "All Rights Reserved". If using Google Images, you can click on "Search Tools", then "Usage Rights", then "Labeled for Reuse".
Thanks again! If there's anything I can help you with now or in the future, don't hesitate to contact me or someone else in the wikiHow forums. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I reverted the edit mentioned. When one "used a name", it typically means that someone has gotten into your account (which didn't happen). Because user pages, like articles, are editable to anyone, yes, it's kind of common to see other people edit user pages that are not theirs (and about 90-95% of the time, it's unwanted). If you see anything on your user page or talk page that you do not wish to have, please feel free to remove as you wish. If you need assistance with anything, you're always welcomed to ask ;)

Thank you for "bouncing back" to me on my RC Patrol error on Calm Down Quickly.
I hope to collect, refine and share with the WH commuity "helpful tips" that helped you, personally, stop wasting time on WH. Any milestone realizations that you have had, if shared, will help others to contribute more heavily using the same effort/time expenditure. Gotta be a good thing!, I'm thinking. So, in this vein, I want to extend to you the invitation to share your "Quick Tips" with me via my UserTalk. I will ensure that worthwhile ideas are shared with the community, hopefully in a QT (quick tip) window on your UserPage. (This will cycle through QTs when clicked). I'm thinking that it might be good to have a "goto contact" for each tip right on the QT who could "flesh out" the details of that QT for everybody. In the end, I'm thinking, these QTs might coalesce into a uberhelpful article. (Just thinking aloud, here.) Upshot: Share with me helpful nugget and I will pass them on, multiplying your sharing for the benefit of all in the WH community. --It's the wiki way!

Anna said:
Me again! :)
I wanted to check in on this one - great edit!. I did notice thought that it wrote over a redirect, rather than going on Spot a Sociopath itself, so I'm concerned there might be a bug or something happening there. Can you describe how you got to that page to edit it? Do you want to move the advice over to Spot a Sociopath so I can put the redirect back - or do you want me to move it for you? Either way works - just let me know!
Do let me know how you got there if you get a chance, so I can do some investigating and file a bug report if there's anything funky happening there! Thanks Amy!
At 02:42, 9 February 2014
Anna said:
Got it, that makes sense! Well I think your content is much better than what's there already on the existing title, so I've marked it for merging with Spot-a-Sociopath. It's totally up to you, but I think it'd be great if you did the merge, so that the history shows it was your content going in there! Great edit for both content and readability! :)
At 21:58, 9 February 2014
Anna said:
You know, I looked it over again and since that advice is all relationship-specific, I think a title change is actually better than a merge. Title-wise, the original was deleted as a duplicate, but the actual contents isn't really duplicate information (especially not after your great edit), so I've moved it here: Recognize if Your Partner is a Sociopath - do you think that works? Thanks again for the great expansion :)
At 21:59, 9 February 2014
Anna said:
PS Can retitle again if you have a better one in mind -- could be that Determine would be better than Recognize, or maybe something like Recognize Signs of Sociopathy in Your Partner, or something similar. So many choices - hehe!

No thanks needed! Getting to recognize great articles with Rising Stars is the best part of my day :)
I can see how those tips might apply to more general relationships too. I'm not sure, but I'll ask Chris H - he's our resident title and search expert, so he'll probably have a good idea of what the best option would be. He has a knack for figuring out what people want when they're looking for given titles, and where different advice will best serve readers. Either way, it's great content, so we'll get it in the best place we can!

Hi, Ciccio works with Italian wikiHow, is there a reason you reverted his edit?

Hi, Amy,
Sorry about the quicknote with little explanation....Ciccio does the interwiki links for Italian language wikiHow, so he changes titles pretty often, usually reflecting a title change so that it doesn't create double redirects, but occasionally, an article link is actually broken (it seems like the previous one was) and he replaced it with a good link. That doesn't mean his edits are inviolate.... it just pays to check them out if you are going to revert them...and people do seem to revert them pretty often.
Thanks!
Bob

Hi Amy, welcome back! Thanks for helping out with patrolling :) I just wanted to remind you that only Admins and New Article Boosters are allowed to remove {{Nfd|date=2014-04-06}} templates. We like to give everyone time to participate on the discussion page of an article that has been nominated for deletion. Please leave your comments there as well. For questions, feel free to contact me, an Admin or the Help Team. Thanks!

Hi Amy,
I saw →this← on Adelaide1230's talk page and wanted to chime in with my understanding that it does not matter who placed the nfd; only admins and boosters can remove the nfd, though, in some cases, the individual who placed the nfd can remove it. Bob says it is best to involve an admin before removing an nfd placed in obvious error.

Hey Amy! I see that you made this rollback, but since this is the writer's guide for a non-English wikiHow project, the article can remain on wikiHow. In that case, I rolled back your edit, but feel free to put it back if I made a mistake. Let me know if you have any questions - I'm always happy to help. Thanks! :)

Hey Amy!
Just wanted to say happy wikiBirthday! Congrats on the milestone!
In light of your anniversary here, would you like to be in the "Meet a Community Member" widget? If so, go ahead and fill out this form. No worries if you don't, but if you do, I'd love to get a little about your wikiHow "story" up for others to see :)
And if so, could you upload an avatar of yourself? It doesn't have to be a close-up (for example mine doesn't show my face), but since the widget is about meeting people, visitors really enjoy seeing a photograph of the person in the widget. Congrats again on your wikiBirthday!

Heya Amy,
I had noticed when you shared your tips on improving listening skills that someone had marked it for possible merging with Develop Listening Skills. I don't think that's a real merge target because improving can be very different from developing, so I removed the tag back then and still think they're fine separate. But I was wondering, do you have any developing-focused tips to add to the other article? It's in pretty poor shape, so I thought it was worth asking! No worries if not, but I thought it might be up your alley to improve :)
