Congrats on starting your first wikiHow article!

Like all new articles, it will now go through a quality review process to ensure it follows our community guidelines. If your article meets those guidelines, you'll get a note letting you know that it's been promoted.

In the meantime you can continue editing to improve your article, or try visiting our Community Dashboard for other ways to help. You might get a kick out of flipping through the Topic Greenhouse to find articles in your area of expertise so you can add your knowledge there, too!

If you have any questions as you go, just reach out to our Help Team for a hand, and someone will get back to you soon :)

I just came across the new article you started on How to Make Minecraft Traps. Thanks for contributing it - it looks like it's off to a great start!

I hope you don't mind - I did a little bit of editing to help it meet the guidelines in our Writer's Guide. Can you take a look here and let me know what you think? I hope you like it, but don't worry if not - no changes on wikiHow are irreversible, and you're welcome to edit on it more, too.

How are you liking wikiHow so far? I'm glad you joined us here and decided to help out - welcome!

No problem at all! Are there more traps to come on that one, too? It's so great to get all the different methods up for readers to choose from :)

At 16:35, Aug 23, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

Hah, totally! Sounds like a plan - let me know how the additions go. I'd be happy to look it over as you add more :)

Oh cool - I saw the start you made to Draw Anissa from Harvest Moon. Do you do a lot of drawing? With a topic like that, it might help to do some more editing to really go into detail for readers, step by step, with everything that they'd need to add. Do you happen to have any pictures of how it looks as you draw? That could be neat, too. What do you think?

At 23:52, Aug 29, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

Cool, a picture would be great! Just be sure it's on you have permission to share here, yeah? Like you made it yourself, found through our Flickr search, or confirmed with the copyright owner that it's fair game :)

Nice to see that image go up - that's one you sketched yourself? It looks great! I did a bit more editing, here - what do you think?

Just a little heads-up - I adjusted the link you added here so it's in our internal link style, which is a bit better to use when possible (for linking to other wikiHow articles). That work for you?

Saw your helpful answer on Beat Five Nights at Freddy's - thanks for tackling that question! How are you liking answering Q&A so far? Have you tried out the tool for it yet, or have you just been answering on article pages?

AnnaAnna said:

You're very welcome!

AnnaAnna said:

Oh no worries - it's a bit experimental still, but you can find the sort of "beta" version here. More topics to come later on, hopefully, but there's a good start there for now. There's a Minecraft one, so that might be up your alley!

At 21:23, Sep 02, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

Oh yeah, I think that happens - the folks wanting homework help! I'd reject most of those (mark them as unhelpful), unless the question can be generalized into a way that's helpful for everyone. I'm guessing most in that style should be rejected!

Thanks for your edits on Use Exercise to Lose the Flab. I'm not sure why you edited the link here? Anna's previous edit summary stated that she was fixing the link, so changing the capitalization broke it again :/ What was your reasoning - did you think the link was correct the way it was before Anna's edit?

At 22:38, Sep 02, 2016

Galactic-RadianceAlex said:

The edit summary here shows that along with your spellchecks, you restored the broken version of the link. By chance - did you edit from a draft that had the broken version of the link? It's totally okay if you did - easy to overlook - but for future reference, I'd advise clicking on "Show Changes" beforehand, to make sure that your edit doesn't alter any links that were changed previously :)

I saw you were working on a new article! Cosplay as Frisk from Undertale looks like it's off to a good start - nice :)

If you're looking for any input, my main advice so far would be to word each step as an action for the reader to take, starting with a verb. Does that sound doable - that's an important part of our formatting guidelines, if you can find a way!

Do you do a lot of cosplay yourself?

Hey again Karianna,

I noticed you were sending welcome type messages to a lot of new users. It's so great you're eager to help here!

I just wanted to give you one heads-up about how that all works: New users do get an automatic welcome when they sign up, from a recently active admin or booster (that's the same as the one you got from Adelaide, at the very top of this page). Because they have that already, they generally they won't need another copied-and-pasted or very generic message, unless they've actually started editing or asked for some kind of help.

If you're keen to get involved with Welcoming new folks in a more personal way, though, you can, especially if you slow down and do it with a more specific and unique approach. If I were you, I'd check out Welcome-New-wikiHow-Users and Become-a-Welcome-Wagon-User-on-wikiHow - they have some great advice about how to leave personal, specific, and helpful welcomes, if that's something you're interested in :)

I know it can be tricky trying to welcome people or offer advice when you're new to the site, too, so if you have any questions as you explore or after you've read those two guides, let me know. I'd be happy to help!

Oops! It looks like you accidentally added a less helpful tip while working on Tips Patrol just now. That's okay though; you're still learning, and it can be tricky at first!

If you haven't already, read our article on How to Use the Tips Patrol Tool on wikiHow and give it another try! If you have any questions about adding tips, don't hesitate to reach out to the Help Team. And remember, if you're not sure what to do, just press the "skip" button and you'll do fine :)

Thanks for your edits on Become Taller Naturally.

Hey there.

Thank you for using the Tips Patrol to help us out. Your efforts to improve articles are greatly appreciated!

I just wanted to offer some advice that might help you become a better tips patroller. Since wikiHow attracts millions of readers per day, we want to make sure each tip is high quality and helpful. Therefore, it's important to make sure the tips are accurate, free of spelling and grammar errors, not too obvious, and don't repeat themselves.

If you come across a helpful tip that could use some improvement, you can simply click the text box and make the necessary changes. If you aren't sure how to improve the tip, or just can't seem to be bothered to fix it, you can always click the button that is labeled "Skip". For more information, you may read How to Use the Tips Patrol Tool on wikiHow.

Thanks again for helping out on Tips Patrol. I do hope you keep at it! Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help.
