Pastor Zack said:
Actually, the colored and formatted names have been around a long time, just nobody has been using them for a long time.
Pastor Zack said:
I quit using them because the code used to show up on the RC page, but now it just messes up the tabs on the browser. We even used to use images, but that has been disabled.

D rae said:

Aw, well, that's alright. But, I'd appreciate it if you'd pop in every little while and edit some of the articles... wikiHow:Emo has got quite a few little nasties -_-

I thought the wikiHow improvement thing lost momentum; I didn't even know it was still being updated... 'Scuse my ignorance.
D rae said:

I thought the project was off *twiddles thumbs*... I'll edit those articles on your end once I get some time =)

That'd be brilliant; those Emo kids like to vandalize and argue a lot, and it'd be nice to have a good article to revert back to ;)

Yeah, that one is PERFECT. I had a look at the current one, and this afternoon i'm going to do some editing. I find that if i edit after other people, i can write it so it makes ense (Chronological order) and i can make sure nothing has been forgotten.

Wow, it looks great :)

And really, there is not only one "right" way to warm up a horse. Different people do it differently. There are lots of wrong ways though :P But I think the article covers several "right" ways. ;)
Horses4Ever said:
Yeah, great job keeping up so far :) Unfortunately, it looks like most of the rest of the WI is pretty much history :P If nothing changes for the better soon, I was considering disbanding it, but perhaps creating a new, smaller project that edited pets articles only, if enough editors were interested. Don't start doing anything drastic yet, but I am considering this as a possibility.

How's things? I did a major re-vamp of the Current WI Pets Article, most of the previose information was not really valid or correct. Any way, i'm just wondering if you would be interested in helping out another project. I know it's a lot of work, I'm currently organising and getting it started, and then i have my editing of my community News, plus work and Competition riding starting next week.

It's trying to help get the Suggested Topics down to a minimum, just tagging and then selecting an article in a category to write. It doesn't have time frames like the WI Project, but i hope it will be just a good once its up and running. Any way, talk later, Also, looking for manes for the project. Ideas?!?!

I am the author of How to Colorize Firefox. Its a common problem. I generally use advanced editing. With this article it is a necessity at least for me, since the chrome.css code has to be precise. So I am curious why you and other editors continually mess it up. I mean it's on and on. Why can't you all leave it alone? Would appreciate an answer. Thanks.

I haven't looked for a new one yet, but i'll start looking just as soon as i finish here.

Any preferences of section (Cats, Dogs, Horses, Birds, etc)

Ok, well, i'll start looking now. Also, the Accuracy tag personally i dont think applies anymore, as it has more than coved safety and accuracy.

P.S. I have started a new project and was wondering what your thoughts on it were. Or if you'd like to help out or be a leader. I know your probably busy, me too, the other night i was nominated for committee member and Youth directer, plus im editing mt community newsletter, and working and studying. and wikiHowing.

Personally, i suggest as it has pleanty of tags, but noting is happening with it, and once its fixed, then it will be a great article.

I can add this if you like, i just wanted your opinion, as we are a team.

Thank you! I had never come across this concept before. I hope my copyediting did nothing to change the meaning there, though I am not sure that this article makes clear this concept at all! I wonder if you would consider inserting in the summary section of the article, what you have just written here, or a revision of it? Howdy Duty here: reference ants.

Nice writing. Very professional which I could happily accept if you left the intent and basic gist of the article intact. So why don't you just write your own article? Why do you steal mine? Your contributions are already covered in other articles. Why don't you write an article specifically for those who are terrified of ants. This article was specifically written for those less intolerant of nature than you seem to be. Do you people nitpick to piggyback on others content? So now that you have taken over my article, which I really wrote for the benefit of public at large not you, and God knows one has to be a super altruist to have to continuously fight with you all, and what now - I have to restore it by creating another title?

At 19:58, Aug 25, 2007

Howdy-dutyHowdy Duty said:

WaatO Maureen Ma'am, it is not anyone - you are an editor. You editors don't seem to get that your suppose to edit for style not content, unless you know content is patently untrue. They won't allow my

Pagan article, not because of style, but because they know nothing about

Paganism and disagree politically. 'blatant disregard', I love that term like

the 'smell of Napalm in the morning'. I believe there is more than one way

to teach, which is relative to the subject matter and audience and said consciousness. Whereas you all seem to think that one size fits all, like how

to fry bacon. Tried the rollback, however did you not remove the rollback control?, which is the only means I have to efficiently fight with you people. Well now I see it's back. Don't get that. So you say I can merge your good writing style into mine, eliminating most

of yours - is that what you said?

Hi Julia,

Just me. I thought I would just write to you and find out how your going. How are you going? I'm good, swammped with the stud and editorial work. (newsletter).

I was just wondering, if your still involved with wikiHow, I know that's a silly question, but I was just wondering, as I haven't seen you around here for a while.

Anyway, I'm going to choose an article for the Weekly Improvement Project, but I'm going to have the project extended a week, even if it doesn't take a week to do it, it will be there just in case. I'll choose an easy one, that way, more people will be able to edit it, and if no one edits it, then i'll do it myself.

Well, I hope everything is ok in your part of the way, I was wondering...why do/did you want to be an admin? Just curious!
Any way, have a good one!
