Hey there!

I saw your question to Krystle. The tips patrol tool is a tool where you can sift through tips, approve the ones that are good enough to be published live onto the articles (after going through recent changes patrol, which is their last layer of quality control), reject the ones that are inappropriate, irrelevant or redundant, and skip the ones you aren't sure about.

The quality guardian is a tool where you have the ability to vote on whether tips and videos are good enough to be published live onto articles, but your vote is counted with the votes of other users as well. Quality guardian is the second layer of quality control that tips go through after they are submitted by logged-out users.

In addition, quality guardian comes before tips patrol. If tips are accepted in Quality Guardian, they move on to tips patrol, where our tips patrol helpers make the final call on whether they are good enough to be published live onto the articles. (However, if one of our volunteer recent changes patrollers doesn't find it good enough to be incorporated into the article, he or she will remove it using the Rollback tool).

I hope this helps clear things up. Let me know if you have any more questions! I'd be happy to help answer anything :)

Hi Italianfan! I like to cook lots of things. I'm especially a big fan of beef and salads, but I can also cook stew, rice, cakes, and other foods. :) How about yourself? Have you tried adding your cooking knowledge to articles on here?

That's awesome! I've made a couple pies before, but not any sweet breads. What type of sweet breads do you like to make? Are they very easy to make?

Cheers,

Hi there!

I noticed that you've been chatting back and forth a lot on talk pages with other people on wikiHow. It's great that you're making friends on wikiHow, but if you're talking a lot about non-wikiHow stuff, could you please move the conversation over to somewhere else? Try reading How to Find Alternatives to Chatting on wikiHow for ideas.

The reason why I'm asking this is because every time you post on someone's talk page, that edit needs to get reviewed by the volunteer editors on the site, which creates a lot of extra work for us. It can be tiresome to review many messages going back and forth between two people, particularly if those messages don't have anything to do with wikiHow.

I hope that makes sense! If you ever have any questions about wikiHow, please let me know. I'll be happy to help.

Could you especially stop the constant conversation with Katherine? Let me know if you don't understand -- I'd be happy to explain further!

Cheers!!

Hey there! I saw your question to Anna. How to Close Your wikiHow Account should help(: An account is never technically deleted, but it's deactivated, in a sentence if you stop using it.

P.S - Based on your username, are you a fan of Italian culture? I LOVE Italian food, especially spaghetti and pizza (though I've heard the pizza is even better in Italy!).

AnnaAnna said:

Aw sorry to hear you're looking to close your account. Looks like Ad sent you the info but is there anything I can do to help or convince you to stick around? We'd miss you!

At 18:10, Jul 25, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

Well, I want you to be comfortable with your arrangement, definitely, so if you're not keen on continuing your account, you can certainly close it. I wouldn't worry about the chat warning though - no big deal! And as for folks coming in and out when they have time and aren't busy, that's very very normal - don't worry! You've done nothing wrong :)

Yes, it can be reactivated - I hope you stick around though! You're a great contributor :)

Hey there.

Thank you for using the Tips Patrol to help us out. Your efforts to improve articles are greatly appreciated!

I just wanted to offer some advice that might help you become a better tips patroller. Since wikiHow attracts millions of readers per day, we want to make sure each tip is high quality and helpful. Therefore, it's important to make sure the tips are accurate, free of spelling and grammar errors, not too obvious, and don't repeat themselves.

If you come across a helpful tip that could use some improvement, you can simply click the text box and make the necessary changes. If you aren't sure how to improve the tip, or just can't seem to be bothered to fix it, you can always click the button that is labeled "Skip". For more information, you may read How to Use the Tips Patrol Tool on wikiHow.

Thanks again for helping out on Tips Patrol. I do hope you keep at it! Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help.

Hi! Your question was this: "I don't want to delete any messages but my talk page is getting full. Can i save it to reread and open up a new one for new comments? If so how?"

At 19:38, Aug 22, 2016

AdelaideAdelaide said:

Oh, I think I understand now...there's no need to create a new talk page. This is the only one you have :)

If your talk page gets too long, there's no harm in archiving it...just follow the steps in How to Archive Talk or Discussion Page Messages on wikiHow. The old messages will still be in the history if you want to access them.
