Hey there IsisVashti! I see you’re a new user on wikiHow. I'm an editor and author at wikiHow and I'd like to say "Welcome!" If you have any questions or if you just want to talk, leave me a message! I'm not a computer, I'm a real person who can talk to you and help you out :D

wikiHow can be tricky at first, but there's a great community full of people that can help you. Here are some links that will help you get started:

  • About wikiHow
  • Administrator Notice Board - notify an administrator about a problem
  • Writer's Guide - which explains the "how to" format
  • Community Portal - info on how to contribute and track our progress
  • Requested Topics - a good place to get ideas for new articles and help readers solve their problems
  • How to Find Help As a New wikiHow User - a great article that teaches you to find help here at wikiHow
  • Help pages

And remember, if you need anything, just send me or someone on the help team a message. Have fun!

Regarding the images you used on http://www.wikihow.com/Noticeably-Lighten-Your-Hair-Without-Bleaching

Hey there IsisVashti!

It appears that you may have forgotten to assign a license to the pictures you recently uploaded. I just wanted to verify whether you made these pictures yourself or got them from somewhere else:

{{{1}}}

If this is a screenshot of computer software, let me know so I can tag the image as Fair Use. If you got it from a search engine, like Google or Bing, or a website you found, please let me know which site - images that are copyrighted can't be used on wikiHow and have to be removed, but you can search for images we already have permission to use by entering search terms in the Search area instead of uploading using the "Browse" button. For more information, see Import Freely Licensed Images Into wikiHow. If you're searching for images on the web, check to make sure they have a "Creative Commons" or "Public Domain" license associated with them (might be found near the picture, or in the site's Terms of Use), rather than "All Rights Reserved". If using Google Images, you can click on "Search Tools", then "Usage Rights", then "Labeled for Reuse".

Thanks again! If there's anything I can help you with now or in the future, don't hesitate to contact me or someone else in the wikiHow forums. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi,

I will license the images for you. In the future, instead of just typing "Self Made", the curvy brackets are needed as well. :) So it should look like {{Self Made}} when you type it in.

Thanks,

Maniac

I want to congradulate you on the work you did in your Lighten Hair Without Bleach article. It was well written, informative, and all-in-all just plain good looking.
