Hey Elizabeth!

Thanks for those fixes on Know a Guy Has Feelings for You - good catch!

What do you think of the Spellchecker so far? I know sometimes the system thinks that real words are possible mistakes (if they're new words or brands that aren't in the dictionary), so it can be tricky to decide what to change and what to keep as is. If you see something that you actually think is okay, you can always check by searching online - then you can click "No, it's correct." Definitely feel free to tell the computer when it's wrong :)

How are you liking the site, overall? Do you have any questions so far? I’d be happy to help if so!

Hi there,

I'm preparing to run an official wikiHow editor survey and I was wondering if you could help out by participating in a pilot study. This is not the official survey yet and should take you just a few minutes to complete. You can learn more about the survey here: wikiHow:EditorSurvey. I would really appreciate it if you could take it within a week. We have a wonderful community here and I'm eager to get a better idea of who contributes and why :)

Hi Elizabeth,

It's a "test run" survey. It only has a few questions. It's just for me to see how many people reply. Later I'm going to run the real survey, which has more questions. I hope this clarifies a few things. If you have any concerns at all about it, tell me what they are and I'm happy to offer more details!

Congrats on starting your first wikiHow article!

I just wanted to touch base in case you were wondering what happens next :) All new articles go through a quality review process to ensure they follow our community guidelines. If your article meets those guidelines, you'll get a note letting you know that it's been promoted.

In the meantime you can continue editing to improve your article, or try visiting our Community Dashboard for other ways to help. You might get a kick out of flipping through the Topic Greenhouse to find articles in your area of expertise so you can add your knowledge there, too!

I was thinking that for like, step one, (poetry writing has to come naturally, don't let anyone tell you sit down at 8am) it could be like a clock at 8:00 and a big X over that. Could that maybe work? Maybe you could have a picture of someone (like you) actually writing a poem.

Keep Your School Supplies Organised and Neat Thanks for writing an article at wikiHow! I just wanted to let you know that I tagged it for copyediting so that one of our editors who are really good at the kind of thing will go through it and fix any grammar or spelling mistakes.

If you want, though, you can look over your article and copyedit it yourself, then remove the {{copyedit}} tag.

Either way, let me know if you have any questions, or if there's anything I can help you with!

Heya,

I came across Keep Your School Supplies Organised and Neat – thanks for making such a great start! I did realize while reading it that we already have a page on that topic: Keep Your School Supplies Organized. You’ve got some great tips, but generally, since we're a collaborative site, multiple articles on the same topic end up getting merged rather than promoted, so I wanted to let you know about the other article. Your best bet might actually be to add your advice to that page instead. More people will see your input there – you’ll be helping readers out, and if you add the information yourself, your username will show up on the list of authors! What do you think?

Thanks again for taking the time to start an article! We’re glad to have your help. Do you have any questions about anything so far? I’m happy to help if you do!

Thanks for your edits on Deal with People Who Want to Know What You Are Browsing. Just a heads-up here: the first sentence generally bolds automatically, so you shouldn't have to add those apostrophes. Was something going wrong with that?

Oh no prob. The bolding will just happen regardless -- all first sentences of steps are bolded, so the apostrophes won't change that. Hope that helps :)

Ah okay, gotya - thanks for clarifying! So you're saying that the kind of buildup of regular old grime can lead to actual permanent discoloration that would need natural bleaches like you mention in step 1? Thanks for your edits on Deal with People Who Don't Accept You. I think that's a good call - the extra images on substeps can get a bit cluttered when they're not crucial ones. Thanks for removing it!

I just chose your article on how to Write a Personalized Friendship Day Message to be a Rising Star. That means it is one of the best new articles on wikiHow. Congratulations, and thanks for the great contribution!

Cheers!!

Thanks for your edits on Untangle Severely Matted Hair. Cheers for swapping out the images here - good call! I just did a little tweak to take out the spare brackets, here. Look good to you?
