Hey again Doggo!

I saw you were helping out with some Q&A answers so I thought I'd just drop by to say thanks for chipping in! How are you liking it so far?

Nice, that sounds like great motivation! What kinds of topics have you been checking out and diving into?

Well, every little counts - that's the wiki way. We all collaborate, bit by bit, to make wikiHow's advice better :)

Have you tried the Topic Greenhouse yet? If you're interested in editing, as well as Q&A, that's a good one to dive into!

Wow, saw the answer on Choose the Right Sword, too - is that a hobby of yours? Fencing or a similar pursuit? Wayyyy out of my topic niche, hah.

Oh nice! Do you do reenactments and that kind of thing?

AnnaAnna said:

Yeah, definitely a good philosophy - learn from the past or you're doomed to repeat it! Glad to have a history buff aboard here :)

I'll have to keep an eye out for articles in that kind of area that could use a hand! We have a category on Fencing but I don't know if it includes enough of the general sword topics to be up your alley? If you spot anything there you want to improve, of course don't hesitate to dive in!

AnnaAnna said:

Hah okay, I will look out for those too!

Oh sorry I totally messed up the link in my earlier message - I meant to send you to the Fencing category. Along the righthand side there are a list of articles that could really use some improvement. Do any of those seem like they're up your alley?

Bummer that there weren't any - I guess that's more of a niche sport? Harder to find teachers and opportunities? I know someone who did it at college but I haven't come across local teams or anything like that.

Here's one I just came across - do you have any thoughts on or knowledge about Choose a Sword Based Fighting Style? It's really not up to our standards at this stage, so it's marked as a stub for now (so it doesn't show up in reader searches). It could really use some more editing love. If you know anything you want to add, please go for it!

That's great - the additions look super helpful! I just did some minor tweaking to line it up a bit more closely to our formatting guidelines. Does this look okay to you?

In the long run, that's a great goal! You can check out the various options and roles on the here if you'd like. Each one has a link to more info, too :)

In the long run, yep - just take note of the requirements for each. There are minimum time and contribution requirements before you tackle those.

Thanks for your edits on Make It Through the Day After You Have Stayed up All Night.

Funny - I think a warm bath would just make me more sleepy, hah. Everyone is different, though - if it works for you, then it might work for someone else, too! Cheers for chipping in with the suggestion :)
