Congrats on starting your first wikiHow article!

I just wanted to touch base in case you were wondering what happens next :) All new articles go through a quality review process to ensure they follow our community guidelines. If your article meets those guidelines, you'll get a note letting you know that it's been promoted.

In the meantime you can continue editing to improve your article, or try visiting our Community Dashboard for other ways to help. You might get a kick out of flipping through the Topic Greenhouse to find articles in your area of expertise so you can add your knowledge there, too!

Hi there thanks for your message. Can you send me a url link to the article where someone has made those bad faith edits you mentioned.

Heya,

I just came across the new article you started on Casino Royale . Thanks for contributing it - it looks like it's off to a great start!

I hope you don't mind - I did a little bit of editing to help it meet the guidelines in our Writer's Guide. Can you take a look here and let me know what you think? I hope you like it, but don't worry if not - no changes on wikiHow are irreversible, and you're welcome to edit on it more, too.

How are you liking wikiHow so far? I'm glad you joined us here and decided to help out - welcome!

Hahahha sorry, I wrote it right in the title change, but then when I wrote my message, my thoughts got away from me and clearly I was overtaken by thoughts of Bond....! Clearly, I've never played Clash Royale - is it a good one?

Cool- sounds like there must be a lot of strategy involved! I should check it out. Do you play a lot of different games like that?

At 21:38, Apr 04, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

Oh nice, that's a lot of variety! I used to play quite a bit of Mario but it was back in the Gameboy and N64 days, hah, so I'd be out of the loop now! When I do tinker with phone games I tend to do puzzles like 2048 -- something with a bit more interactive/character gameplay might be fun, though! I'll have to keep that one in mind next time I'm looking to fill a few minutes -- download it and give it a go :)

AnnaAnna said:

Yep, that kind of thing! Although most of what I do on my phone, I'll admit, is poking around and editing wikiHow instead :P

Well, search results can take a while to populate - a few days or even a few weeks sometimes. But stubs also won't appear in the main search until they're expanded and "de-stubbed". If you can add some more detail to the topic and remove that tag, that'll help it on its way!

At 21:22, Apr 06, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

You can just remove the {{stub}} text at the top. I've gone ahead and done that for you.

One good tip to keep in mind: we try to make each step of the article an action for the reader to take, starting with a verb. That way, for each method, they can follow along step by step to the end. Does that make sense?

Hi there,

I'm running an official wikiHow editor survey and I was wondering if you could help out by participating? This survey should take you about 5 minutes to complete. You can learn more about this research here. I would really appreciate it if you could take it within a week. We have a wonderful community here and I'm eager to get a better idea of who contributes and why :)

After you publish a new article, you can add pictures from the desktop site. Just check out How to Put a Photo in a wikiHow Article; it's pretty easy! One heads-up before you do: taking images from elsewhere on the Internet is generally not allowed, because they're usually copyrighted. But you can import your own images (ones you've taken or created), or you can use the images you find from Flickr and Wikimedia in the image upload tool (you'll see a spot to search for them). Those ones are freely licensed, so they're fair game to use here. You can also request images from our Wikivisual team if you prefer - I'd be happy to pass that on for you, if you let me know what article you want images for :)

Thanks for your edits on Use Strategies and Tactics in Clash Royale. I saw your additions here - nice new advice!

The only thing I noticed about the edit is that we usually try to word each step as an instruction, starting with a verb. Do you think there's a way to do that here?

At 22:37, Aug 24, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

Ah, ok - I had a little stab at editing it to make it more actionable, here. What do you think? Did I accidentally change the meaning of anything, or is it okay?

At 23:10, Aug 24, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

Oh sure, yes, that makes sense - I wasn't always sure if they were items or attacks or similar, so I'm sure I got it wrong in several places. If you want to change, go for it :)

At 23:45, Aug 24, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

I don't actually! It was just your good content that I used; all I did was shift some of the wording around. Glad it worked well, though - and thanks so much for making the follow-up changes!

Not that I know of! What games do they make?

At 22:17, Aug 25, 2016

AnnaAnna said:

Oh got it, okay - I've definitely heard of them! I played Clash of Clans for about a day once, before I gave it up. Too much waiting around for me, heh. I used to play more games but these days don't do so many - and when I do, it's more likely to be puzzles like 2048 or Sudoku. The others are fun but just require so much ongoing attention that I don't stick with them for long!

Have you had a look at any of the categories for those games? I know we have one for Clash of Clans, at least. We might have articles on those other ones, too!

AnnaAnna said:

I spotted that new addition - what do you think about putting it here, as a substep below the existing one on zap spells? Would that work?

Ok cool - I'm glad that works. Thanks DMC! :)
