What was the name of the article?
And, also, for a wikiHow article to be searchable you must wait a day. Try to search it tommorrow and it will show up!
If you have any more questions feel free to ask!

Also, even before it is searchable, if you give me the title I can try to improve it!

Thanks for helping out on Recent Changes Patrol!
Patrolling is wikiHow's first line of Quality Control, and it's awesome you want to lend a hand! There's a lot to learn when you start patrolling, but a few guides can help:
How to Patrol Recent Changes |
Some Patrolling Basics to Get You Started:
- Article edits: If they're accurate and helpful additions, hit Mark as Patrolled. If they're vandalism or involve unnecessary inclusions of brand names or external links, hit Rollback. If they are helpful but are not in wikiHow style or format, or the edit contains mistakes, do a Quick Edit to fix the change.
- Articles needing lots of help: If you come across an article with many mistakes, you can use Quick Edit to fix them up, or add templates for further editing. If you're not sure what needs fixing, just go ahead and skip it so someone else can add any necessary templates.
- Talk pages: Generally, messages between talk pages that aren't vandalism or abuse are fine, too. You can mark them as patrolled, most of the time.
- Discussion pages: Generally, most comments here are fine to patrol, but if you see obvious or repeat spamming, abusive or offensive content, you can remove it.
- User pages: Most edits here are okay. Only rollback or question the edit if it's clearly vandalism by another editor or contains abusive content.
If you have questions, just let me know, or you can ask the Help Team. Thanks for helping out!

Regarding this edit
Do a Fast, Deep Clean for Your Bedroom
I undid the reformat you preformed, If you read the comment dvortygirl left on her edit you will see:
"Note to editors: this article is not in the standard format, in the sense that many steps do not begin with verbs. It nonetheless reads cleanly and probably does not need tagging or correction"
I have to agree with the above assessment as her edit seems cleaner and more concise. Please feel free to re-add the modifications you made to the actual steps however.

"I did not intend to reformat the article. The only thing that I added to the article was a category.
The only thing that I could imagine happened is that I added a category after or during the same time as Dvortygirl was saving her work.
And yes, I agree, Dvortygirl's edit was better than the edit that was originally there when I added the category.
Hope this explains everything."
P.S. I know that I am replying on my talk page. I'm writing this here for clarification.

Arete, No problem at all - edit collisions happen from time to time. I just don't like undoing an edit without letting the editor know that's why I messaged you.
If you ever notice it happen, go to the article's history click "undo" beside the most recent edit, on the undo screen you can add your changes to the previous ones instead of erasing them, and then save it.
Again though, no big deal :) it happens.
Regards,

No problem. Looking at the time stamps, I am a little surprised we didn't edit conflict. It's pretty clear that we both started with the same version, though.
In any case, I can see that you were trying to do exactly what you should be doing, which is improving wikiHow articles. I'm not offended or troubled by honest attempts to do that, and please feel free to replace any matter you added that got lost in the shuffle.
It looks like you're still a little new here to become a new article booster, but you're always welcome to improve new articles directly. When you are comfortable with wikiHow, please consider requesting the new article boost tool. Among other things, it will tell you if another editor is already patrolling a particular new article. The requirement for joining NAB is one of experience, not time, and you're off to a very good start.

Hey dude,
I noticed your comment here where you said that you use film cameras, which is awesome (and thanks for the kind words, BTW :)).
I don't suppose you have any experience on Nikon and Olympus systems which you could draw upon to add to that article? Or indeed anything else I've not used personally (mine's mostly around M42, EOS, Pentax K-mount and Canon FD)? I've tried to make it as comprehensive as I can, but I have no experience with some systems. So, if the article is totally useless for someone using Nikon or Olympus or anything else, I'd appreciate your improvements to it.
Cheers. :)
