How to Use Voicenet to Receive Reminders via Telephone

Using the free version of this call reminder program can be more than enough for most personal users. It's like a good calender, only you don't have to remember to keep checking it. This program can also give you text messages as reminders.

Steps

    Download the software program from Voicenet's website here.

    Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software. Don't be afraid to look up VoiceNet's policy rights.

    Open the appointment reminder software. You should see the Outlook-like calendar window.

    Double click on the time slot of your appointment. When the appointment dialog pops up, set the telephone reminder call time, phone number, and any additional text message.

    Wait for the reminder message. To make sure it is working correctly, set a reminder for a minute or to. (Example: It's 1 p.m. so set to 1:05 p.m.)!

  • You can also set up recurring appointments as reminder calls.
  • You can also access the calendar from a web browser.
  • You will need to have a good quality voice modem for making the phone calls.
