How to Use the NumLock Feature on Lenovo Thinkpads
Sometimes on these Thinkpads you can accidentally turn on the number keypad feature, and then have to reboot the machine to turn it off. When turned on, the letters U,I,O,J,K,L,M type numbers instead of letters. It's a pesky but fixable feature.
Steps
- 1Turn the number keypad on.
- Simply press and hold down the <shift> key.
- Press the key at the top right of your keyboard named "NumLk/ScrLk" This will turn it on and you will type numbers when using the U,I,O,J,K,L,M letters.
- 2Turn the number keypad off. Simply do the same process and it will toggle it off.
