Apple cider has been known as an ancient folk remedy, touted to relieve just about any ailment you can think of. While many of the folk medicine uses of vinegar are unproven, or have been disproved, a few do have medical research backing them up. Some small studies have hinted that apple cider vinegar could help with several conditions, including diabetes and obesity. For such reasons, in recent years, apple cider vinegar has been singled out as an especially helpful health tonic.

    Reduce your blood sugar. Apple cider vinegar is an excellent remedy for reducing blood sugar in the body. All you have to do is mix it with one glass of water (preferably lukewarm) the first thing in the morning everyday. It also soothes upset stomach.
