How to Unjam a D 91 Uzi

So, you're in the middle of an Air Soft battle with your twin Uzis (which look EPIC, by the way) when right when you jump up to mow 'em down both your Uzis stop going ROTATABLE (which is a beautiful sound) and go ERR *click* ERR *click* ERR. Your BBs fire in handfuls for about a foot and not very often. You run off the battlefield as your enemies snicker and give you welts all over. I can fix this.

First, flip the Uzi so the screws face you. Unscrew the three screws nearest the top. Put them somewhere safe and pull off the cocking bolt. The whole top plate should come off, and maybe the back sight. This is supposed to happen. Set the screws, plate, and sights to the side.

Insert the battery. This next part is tricky. Look down the hole where the ammo goes. Look at the plastic gearbox. Shoot it and pull the battery out in such a way that the piston is all the way back. This may take a few tries.

Once you are successful, put the Jam Stick in the barrel and push back until you feel resistance. If you can see the Jam stick from the hole you looked in to see the gearbox, then there is something else wrong with your gun and should see a specialist. If not, continue.

Push more on the Jam stick until you see a BB. Turn the Uzi upside down and shake. If it won't come out, take the Jam stick out and use it to pick at the BB until it falls out.

Repeat previous step until you see the Jam stick next to the gearbox. Remove Jam stick, put Uzi back together, and test-fire blanks to make sure it's making a ROTATABLE (beautiful sound). When you are satisfied, fill your Uzi with seamless BBs and charge battery .

Get revenge on your next match to the people who shot you off the battlefield, Matrix style!

  • Always use high-grade seamless BBs or your gun will jam every time.
  • Never reuse BBs unless for a spring-fired gun, like a pistol, rifle, or shotgun.

  • While test-firing, make sure your gun isn't pointed at a window or fragile item.
  • ALWAYS wear protective eye gear while playing Airsoft.
  • NEVER let a family member borrow your Uzi unless they're on your team.
