How to Show Your Patrol Count on Your wikiHow User Page

The Patrol template displays the number of edits you have patrolled. You can share this with other wikiHow users by putting it in your User page.

Steps

  1. Image titled Template edit page

    Click on the Edit tab at the top of your User page.

    Copy and paste these patrol count templates to your desired location on the page.
    • Display the total number of edits you have patrolled - add {{#PATROLCOUNT:}}
    • Display the number of edits you have patrolled over a specific period of time - add {{#PATROLCOUNT:YYYY-MM-DD|YYYY-MM-DD}}

      • Example: {{#PATROLCOUNT:2008-01-01|2008-01-31}} displays the number of edits patrolled in the month of January.
    • Display a link to update your stats - add [http://wikihow.com/User:USERNAME?action=purge Refresh]
      • Replace USERNAME with your username.
  3. Image titled Publish patrol stats

    Write an Edit Summary and click Publish to save your changes.
    • You can also click Preview to review how the template will look before you publish.
  4. Image titled Update patrol stats

    Click on Refresh to display your most current stats.
