Tips

  • If there are a lot of dogs in your neighbourhood, supply fresh water in a bowl and keep some doggy treats with you. When people go for a walk, their dog can get thirsty and will want some drink. So when the person sees the bowl of water for the dog, they will most likely want to buy some lemonade whist they are there.
  • Set up the lemonade stand at the right place such as a popular park, at the beach or near a special event. There will most likely be a bigger crowd with more money.
  • Make sure you have good signage and put it where many cars pass by.
  • Put out flyers and post on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) telling everyone you're selling lemonade. Be sure to include your address. If you want to attract friends as well, email them or shoot them a text.
  • Have it while a garage sale or something is going on in your neighborhood, this will attract costumers, from outside your neighborhood.

Warnings

  • Never leave the lemonade stand unattended. This gives people the chance to steal.
  • Check the local ordinances to ensure that you do not need a vendor's license. *Be careful setting up near major thoroughfares because your lemonade stand may be targeted for not having a vendor's permit.
