Two Methods:To Copy and Paste From the ArticleTo Copy and Paste From the Wiki Text in the Edit Tab

Sometimes you might need to save a copy of an older version of a wikiHow article. Perhaps you are the original author and would like a copy of what you wrote - before it was edited by others. Here's how.

Steps

    2
Select the edit you would like to save. Clicking on the dates in the list will show you each edit as it stood at that time. Choose the one you want to keep, and click that date.

Decide if you want to save the wiki text, or the plain article text. Saving the text from the article itself will require copying and pasting each paragraph and each step individually. Selecting the entire page would add things from the right-side column inside your article, making a mess of the text. The alternative is to edit this version of the article and copy the wiki text itself.

Select the next paragraph. Repeat this process for each paragraph, typing in each step number in your document before pasting that step. For example, "1. Here's the first step you just copied and pasted." then "2. Next copy and paste this paragraph here." and then "3. Keep doing this for each paragraph." Leave a space between each step to keep it looking clean and organized.
