Tips

  • A square 'super mop' type bucket is the best because it sits on a stair safer.
  • The most efficient way to extract the hair is to use the flat part of your hand, placing your hand on the far side of that stair and bringing it towards you.
  • Empty the bucket after every half dozen or so stairs and replace with clean water, as you will eventually start picking hair back out.

Warnings

  • Wet stairs can be slippery; make sure they are dry before allowing back traffic.

Things You'll Need

  • Rubber kitchen washing up gloves
  • A bucket of water
