How to Process an Article Completely in NAB

There are lots of articles that are being added to wikiHow on a daily basis. With those articles, various 'categories' increase. The Categorization, Related articles, and probably many other ones. You can reduce these numbers with a minimum of effort. Read this article to learn how.

Steps

    Start with your chosen article at the top of the page. Look at the the potential merge/duplicate/related articles. Do the suggested articles fit as relateds? If so, add them.

    Check the copyright violation section. You can look for various phrases by hitting Check repeatedly.

    Click on Link. This should open up the article in another tab or window. If it doesn't, right click on it and choose that option.

    Process the part of the article that you can in NAB; copyediting and formatting and such.

    Go to where the article in NAB is opened up at. Look at the top of the screen. If it says Categories, it isn't categorized. Click on Edit and categorize it.

    Scroll to the bottom and look for Relateds. It would be after Warnings. If you don't see any, look at the right of the screen. There, you will see a section called Editing Tools. Under it, you will find Manage Related wikiHows. Click on that and choose some appropriate related articles.

    Go back to the actual boosting page. Scroll to the bottom and click on Marked as Patrolled.

Warnings

  • It will slow you down a bit, but will help other lists substantially.
