How to Print 4 Pages per Sheet

Adobe Acrobat or Reader is a great way to customize the way you want to print your PDF files. A nice tool is the option to print multiple pages per sheet. Printing multiple pages per sheet is also referred to as n-up printing. When choosing this option, you can choose how to structure the multiple pages on the sheet.

Part 1
Open the PDF File to Print

    Locate the PDF. Navigate to a PDF file you wish to print and right-click on it.

    Right click the file. Select “Open with…”

    Choose program. Click "Adobe Reader" or "Acrobat."

Part 2
Print Your PDF

    Click on "File. Choose and click "Print" from the options.

    Choose "Multiple Pages per Sheet." A Page Scaling pop-up menu will appear.

    Click on the "Pages Per Sheet" menu. This will be located in the Page Scaling/Handling menu.

    Select how many pages you want fitted into a sheet. This option will be in a drop down menu next to "Pages per sheet."

    Choose your desired "Page Order" in the menu below. You can choose between the following:
    • Horizontal
    • Horizontal Reversed
    • Vertical
    • Vertical Reversed

    Print your document. Click on "Okay" or "Print" when you’ve finalized all the options.
