How to Pamper Yourself in the Shower in Under 10 Minutes

You don't have to have many products to give yourself a full pampering in a shower! It's all very simple. Do this 1-2 times a week and you'll feel fabulous.

Part 1
Before Getting in the Shower

    Brush or comb your hair, making sure to get out all the knots and tangles. However, avoid raking the brush or comb through your hair to prevent split ends and possible hair damage.

    Apply conditioner to your hair. Brush the conditioner through your hair.

    Apply a face-mask. An example of a good face-mask is Neutrogena, since it has a great 2 in 1 cleanser which you can use as a face mask.

    Once you have completed the above steps, collect what you need in the shower (see "things you'll need"). Remove your clothes.

Part 2
Washing Yourself

    Adjust the water to a nice temperature, making sure the water feels lukewarm. This will prevent your skin from becoming too flushed, resulting in poor skin. Step into the shower, and rinse out the conditioner.

    Rinse off the face-mask. Close your eyes to prevent the mask from getting into them.

    Wash your hair. Use a shampoo of a good brand, making sure to massage your scalp with your fingertips. Avoid scratching your head and raking your fingers through your hair.

    Lightly apply conditioner to your hair, being careful not to use too much. However, don't rinse it off.

    Exfoliate your face. Use a wash made for your face, making sure it's appropriate for your skin type.

    Scrub body wash onto your body.You can also use some shower gel.

    Shave any unwanted body hair. Be careful not to cut yourself.

    Exfoliate your body.

    Wash out the conditioner. The time you took to complete the above steps should be enough for the conditioner to work on your hair.

    Rinse yourself down. Make sure to wash off all the body wash and shower gel.

    Get out of the shower. Wrap a warm, fluffy towel around your body to give yourself a nice, cozy feeling.

    Moisturize your skin. While your skin is still damp, it's best to apply the moisturizer so that it can lock in the moisture. This will make it softer and last longer.

Tips

  • Air dry your hair to avoid using heat on your hair; otherwise, it may cause hair damage.
  • Get a towel ready on a radiator to make it nice and warm for when you get out of the shower!
  • Fold up a towel, dampen it with water, and put it in a microwave for 30 seconds. The amount of time you leave it in the microwave will depend on the warmth you want.
    • Be careful not to leave it in the microwave for too long.
  • You can listen to music in the shower. It's more fun!

Warnings

  • Make sure that if you put the towel on a radiator, it doesn't catch fire!
