How to Paint Your Pet Rock
So you have a pet rock. It's good sized and and roundish and it feels good grasping it in your hand. But the color of it is just too dreary. How do you solve that? By painting it!
Steps
- 1Gather a rock and some paint colors. Remember, choose a nice color, your rock will be that color for the rest of his or her life! If you want, you can do spots of paint, or just paint a face.
- 2Lay the rock down on a paper towel, so that you won't get paint all over your workspace.
- 3Begin painting. Make sure not to apply too much. Paint in thin, even coats.
- 4Once the paint has dried, put a finishing clear paint on to make the rock shine and glimmer.
Tips

- Try painting stripes or polka dots or a pattern that you like.
- Try painting a little smile on the rock!
- Some rocks can be already colourful, and make great pedigree pets.
