How to Overcome Loneliness when Working from Home

When you work at home all alone, it can get very hard to work if you don't have someone to ask advice from or just to take a break and share stories, talk, joke, etc. It can get very lonely. Try using these steps to help that.

Steps

    Call some friends or family. It works every time. When you call them, ask how they are doing, say you just wanted to talk, or start talking about something they really like so it can start a conversation.

    Call a friend or friends to come over to your house so that you can have someone to talk with. Make sure you take a break from working while they are there, or else they might get bored from just sitting around. Play games with them, talk, what ever it takes to get rid of the loneliness.

    After or before work, have some sort of party. Invite friends, family, boyfriends/girlfriends, etc. This will definitely get rid of loneliness.

    Have some friends stay at your place for the night if you all still like 'sleep-overs'.

    Call your friend and ask if you want to meet each other on the Internet, or on a game. If it involves going online instead of a private game, NEVER GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. This is how hundreds if not thousands of kids are fooled into thinking they are with someone their age and go missing when they go meet their 'teenage friend'.

    Take some friends and go somewhere fun.

    (Optional and drastic) If you want to interact with people while you work, look for another job on the Internet, such as video game designer/tester, a supermarket, a store, anywhere social. It can also help with your social status.
