How to Organize Your Flash Drive

If you own a flash drive that is frequently used, you may have noticed it gets very cluttered with files. This should help clean it up in no time!

Steps

Delete useless files. Most flash drives have 1/4 of their memory filled with useless files. Doing so will free some memory and clear some clutter.

Make folders. Make a specific folder for each kind of file such as photos, Microsoft office documents, videos, music etc. This will make finding a file much easier

Move all the files into their matching folder. To move the file just drag it into the folder.

Keep it organized. Set your computer to automatically save that kind of file to its matching folder.

Don't delete important files. Some flash drives may contain files necessary to keep programs stored on your flash drive to run. If you're unsure about deleting a file, leave it alone, or look up its function on a search engine.
