We all face it. The addiction to technology is rising day by day. We get so involved in it that we forget that we have a life outside Facebook and our latest iPhone. To get rid of this addiction, read on.

- 1Switch off your computer or any other electronic device. It might be quite difficult but you have to do it.
- 2Ask your parents for help. Ask them to put some password for your mobile or block your Facebook website and to not tell you the password.
- 3Divert yourself. There's a lot in the world other than technology!
- 4Stop the temptation. You might just want to sneak for 5 minutes but that would drag on to become 5 hours. So, just don't let your temptation win.
- 5Be strong in your will. You decided not to get addicted, now do something for it.
- 6Go on walks. Go on long, peaceful walks in calming environment. Don't take that iPod with you!
- 7Appreciate nature. Get acquainted with it. Like the sunrise and enjoy the sunset!
- 8Hang out with friends. Go to shopping, any event but make it clear that you use no gadgets.
- 9Spend time with your family. It will help you overcome your addiction.
- 10Find a hobby. Do something new!
- 11Concentrate on studies. It will keep your mind occupied.
- 12Make a time-table. Sort out your works.
- 13Limit your timings. Make it strict that you sit only for 15 minutes (or any time according your time-table).
