How to Nosestall Onto a Curb

This stalling skateboarding trick is one that most skaters should know. Before doing this, be sure you know how to do an ollie.

Steps

    Find a nice curb; one that is decent for you.

    Get decent speed.

    Come up to the curb smoothly and get your feet in an ollie position.

    Put your left foot near the front side bolts and right foot near the tail.

    Slide your front foot up; all the way to the nose of the board.

    Lean forward a bit, then back just a little, but not too much or you may fall.

Tips

  • Wear shoes with good grip.
  • Get a smooth pop in.
  • Flow with it.
  • Try lower curbs first. When you feel comfortable, work your way up to bigger ones.
  • Roll your front ankle a little.
  • You may not get it on your first try, but keep on trying.
