How to Make Simple Fried Pasta

This is a very light simple combination of potatoes, cucumbers, peppers and pasta that has depth of flavour, yet it is not at all hot. It has a blend of delicate flavors incorporated throughout. Get started at step number one below to combine Chinese soy, Italian pasta and Indian chilli with fries!


  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 Green peppers
  • 2 large Potatoes
  • 2 ea. 8 oz. packages Elbow pasta or macaroni
  • Cucumbers, sliced
  • Chili pepper (chaat masala)

    Pour a little bit of olive oil into saucepan.

    Add half a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of black pepper.

    Pour in 3 large spoons of soy sauce. For a more distinctive taste, pour a little more into it and stir well.

    Add vegetables sliced into the shape of french fries, the 3 green peppers and 2 large potatoes and fry them all together. The potato may take quite some time to fry to an edible state. Keep in mind it's conventional to fry in a frying pan and you're using a saucepan so do your best.

    Boil two normal sized packets of pasta that are elbow or macaroni pasta. Add pinch of salt to the boiling water. Boil, or prepare cook the pasta following the instructions on the box if you prefer.

    Mix the fried vegetable sauce you prepared with the pasta. Drain the pasta first if you prefer a less watery dish. Mix Well.

    Add sliced cucumbers as dressing and sprinkle with a little chili pepper (chaat masala).

    Serve to all who have a hearty appetite.


  • Reduce the quantity of salt and soy sauce if you have high blood pressure.
