How to Make Scented Pencils

This delightful project will result in scented pencils that are tailored to your favorite scents. These make wonderful gifts as well as being a scrumptious, delicious, and yummy way to brighten up your usual pencils.

Steps

    Cut a piece of the newspaper about as wide as the painted part of the pencil is long.

    Make sure that the water has a strong scent of whichever juice you're using.

    Take off the newspaper. You now have an awesome scented pencil. Make as many as you need and present them as a package if you're preparing them as gifts.

Tips

  • You can use other scents if you want, such as perfume or scented waters.
  • If you want, label the scents of the pencil.
  • You can use all three fruits at a time.
  • Don't use strips of newspaper; use whole sheets.

Warnings

  • Don't use regular paper, only newspaper.
  • This may not work if your juice isn't strong enough or the pencils just don't take in the scent. If it doesn't, repeat all of the steps above without taking the pencil out of the newspaper.
  • Do not drink leftover juice.

  • A lemon, lime, orange,cinnamon, coconut, or grape juice
