How to Make Quick Easy Cupcakes

Ingredients

Vanilla

  • 2 3/4 cups flour

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Chocolate

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter at room temperature

Strawberry

  • 2/3 cup strawberry jelly not jam
  • 1/4 cup whole milk, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method 1
Vanilla Cupcakes

    Measure out your ingredients. Having everything ready before you start mixing will keep you from forgetting an important ingredient.

Tips

  • Be careful when cracking the eggs to not get any shell into the mix.
  • When you take them out of the oven test them by poking one. If it bounces back up then it is done; if not then put it back in the oven for a bit longer.
  • Be creative when decorating your cupcakes! Add icing, chocolate, sliced fruit, marshmallows, or sprinkles.
  • Use a toothpick and place in all cupcakes and if it comes out clean that means it ready. If comes out dirty with crumbs that means its not ready, put it back the oven if toothpick comes out dirty.
