How to Make Preservative Free Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 2lb Organic Grass Fed Ground Beef (93/7 - 96/4)
  • 15oz Tomato Sauce (read the label - tomatoes only)
  • 6oz Tomato Paste
  • 1 Bell pepper (Diced)
  • 1 Onion (Diced)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar

Steps

    Fry the ground beef and make sure that it is cooked thoroughly.

    Be sure to drain it well.

    Add the onions and the bell pepper to the meat.

    Mix them together over medium heat until they start to soften.

    Add the tomato sauce and paste. Don't mix.

    Add all of your seasonings on top of the sauce and mix into the sauce. (If you choose, you can do this separately, and then add to the meat mixture.

    After mixing the seasonings into the sauce, mix the sauce into the meat mixture.

    Mix everything together fairly well, cover and then cook on low for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
