How to Make Pasta With Chickpea Sauce

Easy, fast and not so known Italian pasta sauce recipe!

Ingredients

  • The pasta of your choice, enough for 2 people (€1.05~$1.4 for 500 gr.)
  • ½ onion (€0.19~$0.25 for +/- 150gr.)
  • 1 Small can of chickpeas (€0.67~$0.90 of r1 small can)
  • Salt and pepper for taste
  • Dried basil and oregano (€0.99~$1.3 per pot of 6 gr.)
  • Olive oil

Steps

    Cover the surface with dried basil and oregano

    Add the onions and let them bake for about 20 seconds

    Add the chickpeas with the juice and give it a stir

    Put on a lit and let it simmer for at least 10 to 15 minutes

    Taste you chickpeas after about 15 minutes, when they feel soft it means that your sauce is almost ready

    Season it with some pepper and salt
