How to Make Nacho Cheese Sauce Pasta



The gracious members at Suzy-Q's Bakery Shoppe compiled a Bakery Shoppe cookbook that was self-published in 1999. Some of the best recipes were shared by group members and here is one of them. The recipe was called Sinful Pasta in the cookbook and is from Mary Lucas.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 can Cheddar cheese soup, condensed, probably around 10 3/4 ounces
  • 12 ounces mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can Nacho cheese flavored soup, condensed, about 10 3/4 ounces
  • 1 cup butter, melted, 2 sticks
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 large cans evaporated milk, about 12 ounces for each can
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps

    Bring salted water to a boil.

    Add elbow macaroni and cook until just tender. Drain.

    Preheat oven to 350 °F (177 °C).

    Add remaining ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix well.

    Stir in macaroni.

    Spray a large casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

    Pour pasta mixture into prepared casserole dish.

    Bake 45 to 50 minutes until golden.

Tips

  • You can also portion out the pasta mixture and add the pasta to small casseroles to freeze for later use.
  • Top it off with oregano spices for a twist.
