How to Make Marshmallow Snowman Snacks

A marshmallow snowman is a simple treat made from placing marshmallows one on top of the other and connecting them with a toothpick. Other candies are added for the snowman's features. This is a fun treat to provide during the festive and holiday seasons during winter.

These are per snowman:

  • 3 marshmallows
  • 1 candy cane
  • 1 candy corn
  • 2 milk duds

  1. 1
Place the three marshmallows one on top of the other. Form a neat stack.
  2. 2
Connect the three marshmallows together with a toothpick. Slide each marshmallow on vertically, keeping the stack intact.
  3. 3
Push two milk duds into the top marshmallow. These will create the eyes.
  4. 4
Cut the candy cane into two evenly sized smaller lengths, removing the hook end. Insert the candy cane pieces into the second marshmallow, one on each side, to form arms for the snowman.
  5. 5
Insert the candy corn into the top marshmallow below and in between the eyes. This forms the marshmallow snowman's nose.
  6. 6
Repeat for as many marshmallow snowmen as you wish to make.
  7. 7
Serve. Place on a plate and leave on the table for snacks.

  • Use shaved candy cane to make hair for the snowman.
  • If preferred, adhere the marshmallows together with marshmallow crème or frosting.
  • Other candies can be used as decorations.
  • Keep in an airtight container if not serving immediately.

  • Toothpicks can be swallowed easily and are not suitable for small children. Marshmallows are also not suitable for young children and eating of such sweets should be supervised for any child.
  • Be careful when cutting candy cane; ask an adult to do so if you're not properly trained in using the knife carefully.
