How to Make Macaroni Ham Salad

What to do with that leftover ham you have from dinner? Look no further. If you have some macaroni noodles (they work the best, but any pasta noodles will do) - you have the makings for a delicious summer meal, or anytime!

Ingredients

  • Chopped ham
  • Macaroni noodles (or any other short pasta noodles)
  • Vegetables (optional)
  • Cheese cubes (optional)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper
  • Herbs for seasoning (optional)

Steps

    Boil enough servings of elbow macaroni to fill a glass Pyrex (or similar) bowl.

    Boil approximately 2 servings of elbow macaroni (or any other short pasta noodles).

    Cut up into small pieces any vegetables you would like to add that you have in your fridge. For example: green pepper, red pepper, carrot, onion, green peas, broccoli, etc.

    Mix the vegetables in with the ham.

    You may want to add cubes of cheese or a sprinkle of grated Parmesan.

    When the macaroni noodles are done, strain them in a colander and rinse them under cool water.

    Mix the ham and vegetables with the noodles.

    Add just enough mayonnaise to make creamy.
