How to Make Local Hawaiian Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef hamburger
  • 2 packets onion soup mix
  • 2 white potatoes, washed and peeled
  • 1 can spam, cubed
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (45g) bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup (120g) ketchup
  • 1-2 stalks green onions, washed and cut
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps

    Preheat the oven to 350ºF or 180ºC.

    Combine the hamburger, green onions, eggs, spam, bread crumbs, onion soup mix, and ketchup in a large sized bowl.

    Use a sharp knife and thinly slice the potatoes into round circles. You'll want them to look like thin and flat pancakes.
