How to Make Lemon Linguine

The refreshing citrus taste of lemon creates a light bounce in this pasta dish. No heavy or greasy ingredients to use, so it's perfect for summer suppers.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine (can use angel hair or a thinner pasta)
  • 1 tbsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Handful cilantro, finely chopped
  • Salt, to taste

    Cook the pasta until al dente.

    Combine the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes in a small sauté pan over a low heat.

    Use a ladle to retrieve one scoop of the pasta cooking water. Add it to the sauté pan.

    Drain the pasta and add it to the sauté pan.
