wikiHow to Make Honey Roasted Nuts

Honey roasted nuts make an excellent snack for special occasions, such as during the festive season or a party.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (good quality)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 200g unsalted cashews
  • 200g blanched almonds

    Mix the honey, olive oil, salt and cayenne pepper together in a bowl.

    Add the cashews and almonds and toss about in the mixture to coat the nuts.

    Prepare a baking tray/sheet with parchment paper or non-stick surface. Spread the coated nuts across the tray/sheet.

    Put into the oven and cook at 180ºC/350ºF for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Do not leave to blacken.
