How to Make Hominy Croquettes

Easy to whip up croquettes that can change flavor according to the nuts that you choose to add.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cooked hominy
  • ½ cup nuts
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup or similar sweetener (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon melted fat (olive oil, butter, margarine etc.)
  • Dried breadcrumbs to cover

Steps

    Mix the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.

    Spoon out enough to make a croquette shape.
