How to Make Eggnog Cream Cheese Frosting

Eggnog is one of the best drinks to have on a cold winter's night, especially during the holidays. Make the festivities more interesting by dishing out some cinnamon rolls topped with a special eggnog cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients

Makes enough for 10 to 15 cinnamon rolls.

  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 5 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup eggnog
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon spiced apple cider mix, optional
  • 3 to 4 cups powdered sugar

    Cream the butter and cream cheese. Use a hand or stand mixer to cream both ingredients together until smooth.
