How to Make Easter Egg Heads
A fun craft for the kids, this little Easter head grows its own head of hair inside an eggshell.
Steps
- 1Assemble the supplies needed. These are listed below. Repeat the instructions below for each egg used.
- 2Make a small hole in the top of the egg about the size of a cent or penny. Empty the egg and keep the eggshell.
- 3Fill the base of the egg with soil or cotton wool.
- 4Add the seeds. Add just a very small amount of soil over the top if using soil. Sprinkle with water.
- 5Create the egg face. Stick two googly eyes on for eyes or draw them in with markers. Draw a smile and eyelashes, a nose and eyebrows.
- 6Place the egg in a container to keep it upright. For example, use a holder created from the egg carton or a small cap from a juice bottle.
- 7Put the egg into a warm spot to help the seeds to grow into "hair".
- 8Finished.

- The egg contents can be kept for cooking.
