Dress up your pet in a cute Christmas costume. Quite a few pet shops should have these in stock near Christmas time, and you can also order them online if need be.
    • It may help your pet stay still for the photo longer by using a treat or two.
    • If your animal won't cooperate with a full-body costume, try minimizing the costume until your pet is fine with it. An idea of this would be loosely tying a pretty gold ribbon around your cat's neck.
    • If your pet still is causing a ruckus about the outfit, then don't use an outfit at all. Instead, decorate the area that will be the background of the picture. An example of this would be a picture of your dog in front of a Christmas tree, or laying down on the floor with a cup of hot cocoa next to him.
    • If it's a caged animal, decorate their cage by cutting out fabric or paper decorations. For the latter, you can either search for them online and print them out, or make them yourself!

    • If you don't have any blank cards - do not fear! Simply find some cardstock (or even colored paper works fine), fold in half lengthwise, and cut in half across the width. Each half will work as a card.
