How to Make Buttered Hominy

Cooked hominy is dressed in a simple sauce of butter and salt. Hominy is made from alkaline treated corn kernels and is usually canned before being shipped off to market.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hominy
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Steps

    Heat hominy and then drain off all but 3 tablespoons of the liquid.
