How to Make Basil Pesto Pasta

Basil pesto pasta is a favorite dish for many people.

Ingredients

  • A handful of fresh basil
  • About a cup of pine nuts
  • 7-8 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Fettuccine pasta (as much as you want)
  • Parmesan or mozzarella cheese (optional)

Steps

    Chop the pine nuts with a knife or herb chopper.

    Chop the fresh basil and 2 cloves of garlic. Chop until the garlic and basil are finely chopped.

    Add just about 7-8 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix the basil and garlic together in a bowl.

    Put the fettuccine pasta in for boiling.

    After the pasta is cooked, drain the water out. Put the pasta on a plate.

    Put the pesto on the pasta. Mix it up.
